I first heard of you on YouTube when you put out a video about short story you were writing.  It's been years since I read it, but it was about black seamstress living in the 1940s (i think) who falls in love with a white soldier. I believe she became pregnant by him and she had to move in with his mother. They wrote letters to each other until finally he came back for in the end. God, I wish I could remember the name of that story and were to find it because it was one my favorites.
